1. Scope and Applicability
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to all client users, devices, and systems that access Bitscaled-managed services, cloud environments, and workspace portal resources.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized access activity.
- Attempting to disrupt networks, services, or security controls.
- Distribution of malware, ransomware, phishing, or abusive content.
- Credential sharing or impersonation of another user.
3. Data Handling Requirements
- Handle client and company data according to contract and applicable law.
- Store and transfer sensitive data only through approved secure channels.
- Do not export, copy, or retain data outside authorized systems.
4. Acceptable Software and Tooling
- Use only licensed and approved software within managed environments.
- Do not install unapproved remote access, monitoring, or data exfiltration tools.
- Maintain device security updates and endpoint protections when required.
5. Incident and Violation Reporting
Suspected compromise, policy violations, credential exposure, or unauthorized activity must be reported immediately to the Bitscaled security team.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in access suspension, investigation, contract enforcement, service restrictions, and legal escalation where applicable.
